Cleveland Emergency Shelter

The Cleveland Emergency Shelter is a 48-bed facility that provides daily for the most vulnerable and desperate among us. The purpose of the emergency program is to provide temporary shelter, food and case management services for homeless individuals and families without regard to age, sex, race, religion or disability. Children under the age of 18 will not be accepted into the program without the presence of a parent or guardian. The shelter requires some form of identification at entry but will assist individuals in obtaining birth certificates, state ID, and social security cards if these items were lost or stolen. This comprehensive program offers support that will promote, empower, and nurture families or individuals.

Volunteers are always welcome, and we are especially grateful to those who serve dinner each night in our multipurpose facility and/or prepare breakfast in our kitchen. For more information on how you can join our volunteer team, please call the Cleveland Emergency Shelter. Donations are also always welcomed and greatly appreciated because our hours of operation are contingent upon fund availability.
